SAVE THE DATE! BOARDIES DAY !
Friday 28 November 08

How can your workplace or school support Surf Life Saving and Warriewood SLSC
and give something back to our volunteer lifesavers?

Surf Life Saving New South Wales is inviting people throughout Australia to participate in Boardies Day on Friday, 28 November to help raise much needed funds to support our life saving endeavours on the beaches this summer.

This event is open to all ages and is a fun, easy way to become a ‘life saver’ in your workplace, school or social club!

If you’d like to join in, there is still plenty of time to register your school or business.

Simply register with Warriewood Surf Life Saving Club w.slsc@bigpond.net.au  and organise a casual ‘beach themed’ dress day.

The Club will provide you with a fundraising kit which has everything you need to take part, including stickers, red and yellow balloons, a poster and a beach ball to help decorate your venue and get everyone in the mood.

Those who can’t dress down on the job can still help the cause by making a gold coin donation to show their support.

All the money raised will be used to support the amazing work of our volunteer lifesavers around Australia.

Your support helps to ensure our beaches remain the safest in the world and that the proud Aussie tradition of Surf Life Saving can continue.

Next time you’re at the beach, take comfort in knowing you have played a part in hoisting the red and yellow flags!

  SPONSOR THANKS

Warriewood SLSC would like to welcome
SPRING HORTICULTURAL AND GARDENING SERVICES
and
THREE SPRING FLOWERS

If you have ever noticed how manageable the natural bushland is around the club, or any recent landscaping or major deweeding project, please thank Matt Scranage and his Landscaping business. A true local Warriewood boy Matt has over the years helped maintain our surrounding natural bushland. And now Melinda has found herself supporting the surfclub as well with her new gifts, cards and flowers shop at the local Warriewood Beach shops. Both Matt and Melinda are extremely supportive to our club and it would be great if you could show your appreciation in return.
